I am called by many names. My favorites are Mom and Grandma…but I also enjoy being called artist, photographer, and lover of all things that grow.

You can call me Karen.

I love the morning light, brilliant sunsets, the night sky, and the warmth of the sun on my face. Catching a glimpse of the moon at daybreak always makes my heart smile.

I am fascinated by reflections and shadows, and how light is so hard to contain because it wants to spill out everywhere.

I am in awe of the ocean, the power of a smile, and that morning always follows night.
